Pure Sine Wave Uninterruptible Power Supplies WATT Solutions Ltd. are the exclusive distributors for all UTL products including PURE SINE WAVE Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) for EUROPE and AFRICA Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) have been around for some time and offer a good short time alternative source of AC power when mains fail. The main disadvantage with standard UPSs is that they cannot hold the load more than a few minutes and are designed only to supply loads that can handle digitally generated AC power. This means that fans, motors and standard fluorescent lamps will not function correctly if at all. A ‘Pure Sine Wave UPS’ is capable of supplying any kind of load efficiently and is in fact, cleaner and more stable than the mains itself. The mains power we receive from our supplier is fluctuating in level and quality at any given point in time and is rarely what it should be in an ideal world. Most people have suffered from damage to there electrical equipment because of the poor quality of the mains even though they have installed voltage stabilising equipment. Latest Technology UTL SINEWAVE LI UPS is powered by micro controller digital technology. It is only possible through this technology that we could bring you a pure Sine Wave Output along with Mains Synchronized changeover. All the processes inside are digitally controlled to the crystal perfection. The PURE SINE WAVE output is as smooth as your natural power should be. This UPS has excellent features like Computer Interface*, Line Interactive Changeover & wide input range 140V to 280V AC whist still maintaining 230V 50Hz output, eliminating the need for a separate voltage stabiliser. Battery Health for Longer Life UTL SINEWAVE LI UPS uses external batteries which can a minimum 4 hours of autonomy at full load. (not I version, see specification chart on rear). After a period of time some batteries do not go beyond 13.5 V while charging. Normally, in this case batteries are over charged by normal Inverters. UTL SINEWAVE LI UPS declares the battery is charged, in this condition, and maintains it on float voltage level. This way, user has option of installing any battery (open, sealed or Ni-Cad) with UTL SINEWAVE LI UPS. It also provides the option of battery equalizing.
